School labs are a great place for students to help them enhance their learning by understanding the theoretical
concepts which are taught in classrooms.
It is correctly said that everything is theoretically impossible until it is done.
Keeping it in mind, Shah Faiz Pubic School has set up spacious, well ventilated, state of art and well equipped
laboratories for Physics , Chemistry , Biology , Mathematics , Computer Science , Arts & craft etc. for senior as well
as junior students so that budding scientists and innovators may be nurtured in Shah Faiz Public school. All the
laboratories are supported by experienced lab attendants.
Some Laboratory facilities in the school are:-
1. Physics Lab
The lab is equipped with all the required models ,apparatus ,testing materials and all the
experimental setups in sufficient quantities for the students to enjoy and learn the concepts physics.
2. Chemistry Lab
The lab provides best knowledge to the chemistry students, it is provided with latest
equipments and infrastructure including various chemicals salts, reagents and electronic
balances.
3. Biology Lab
The lab helps students to understand various biological phenomena so that they are able to
provide their best services to the nation. It is equipped with several models ,charts ,
microscopes, chemicals, specimens, experimental tools and an interactive smart board .
4. Computer Lab
There are 3 computer labs which are installed with 82 computers and the latest technologies.
All the labs are well furnished with good infrastructure and modern facilities for students to learn
programming and other skills of computer science.
5. Maths Lab - Maths lab is also provided to the students so that they can experience problem solving skills through
models, charts and projects.
6. Arts & Crafts - “A man paints with his brains and not with his hands.”
Following the above quote, SFPS is blessed with well-groomed teachers guiding the students to enrich their
caliber for their cognitive, physical and social development. Arts and crafts activities can enhance the children’s
proficiency and agility. With the enhancement of fine motor skills and much practice, a child’s manual dexterity,
artistic skills, and speed will also increase. Simple actions like holding a paintbrush and coloring with pencils help
strengthen muscles and improve their control.
